#TheFrontStepsProjectSB
When we smile, our brain feels happier. So let’s uplift ourselves during this time and document a chapter in history.
I was inspired by Cara Soulia, a Needham, MA photographer who started The Front Steps Project.
In an effort to help us feel less isolated, I want to bring us together by highlighting the faces of our community. I’m already so proud to see how quickly our community has responded and helping those in need.
I’ll be providing a complimentary short 5-minute porch-rait session. In exchange for your digital file, I am asking you to make a donation to Food Bank of Santa Barbara through this GoFundMe Campaign.
How does it work?
I am taking a block of time during the day to run around town taking super fast photos of families on their front steps/porch/lawn. I will be taking images from outside ONLY and at least 10 feet away. I’ll combine families in each city Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria and Santa Ynez to make sessions the most efficient.
Want to stand outside in your pj’s like my son? Go for it. Didn’t brush your hair? Who cares. Pose with your dog or cat? The more the merrier. This is not your typical session - we’re documenting you being you.
Be sure to follow. I will be posting these images on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #TheFrontStepsProject & #TheFrontStepsProjectSB
